Junior Lifeguards

Course Description

Based in Martin County, Florida, Marine First Responders is staffed by highly trained marine safety personnel dedicated to minimizing risk and maximizing safety on the water. Each summer we host a Junior Lifeguard summer camps for youths 9-14 combining comprehensive water safety education and training with FUN activities, such as surfing, prone paddling boarding, free diving and challenging beach games to build confidence, promote fitness and instill core values of teamwork and leadership. And most important finding their passion for the ocean at our surf camps. Your child will develop a strong foundation for water safety, ocean awareness and respect for the marine environment. The sports and recreation education camp is held on Hutchinson Island at Jensen Beach and Sailfish Splash Waterpark in Martin County and includes a guided free diving lesson on the Georges Valentine Shipwreck Dive Site, located off the House of Refuge in Stuart.

Junior Lifeguard Summer Camps combines elements of marine safety, lifesaving, lifeguard training and advanced surfing instruction that goes beyond what is offered at most surf camps and private surf lessons or even a destination surf camp. Our summer camp is held at Jensen Beach, The House of Refuge and Sailfish Splash Waterpark, all located within Martin County, Florida. The camp serves residents of Martin County, St. Lucie County and Palm Beach County, including the cities of Jensen Beach, Stuart, Palm City Hobe Sound, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce and Jupiter.
